Dear Mum 2

Art practice for me is a form of expression. It’s about capturing moments, appreciating beauty, telling stories, and sharing memories.

Dear mum is a series of triptych paintings, painted with acrylics on canvas. These paintings are a celebration of the beauty of nature, but they also reflect memories of love and affection, captured in street movements, and detailed through the individual brush strokes.

The series depicts a couple of characters enjoying a walk in nature. In a nature that appears elegant and joyful through the play of light and details of the trees. These are memories I grew up experiencing in my childhood, and they are scenes commonly seen around my community.

In the busy world we are living in, we tend to forget the beautiful nature sceneries that all around us – if we just take the time to look. These paintings are meant to express the beauty of nature and to capture its magnificent elegance through art.
